Take the New Testament “Road Trip” this Spring! Lots of New Church people are reading through the New Testament together, with a short reading each day adding up to the entire New Testament by April.

You can also “sign up” on the back of the Connection Card on Sunday — letting us know you’re doing the readings, so we can remind you and give / get “progress reports” as the 90 days go by.

We were delighted to have two of our ministry trainees at New Church ordained last month, Nancy Svensson and Neil Turner. Both Nancy and Neil completed their M.Div. at ABSW and are now serving on staff at New Church, Nancy as Pastor of Children and Family Life, and Neil as Assistant Pastor.

This morning we had fun in NCKids making a diorama of the Garden of Eden. The kids enjoyed using a variety of materials to make the different animals and sea creatures – including about 5 snails, and a number of snakes! They were so proud of their work and it was fun to see the story come alive for the kids, and for me too!

This morning we were privileged to have touring Colorado-based band “The Ineloquent” play a set in the service. They also played on Friday night, putting on a free concert in the chapel. These guys are very talented and minister God’s word in a very special way. We were blessed to have them come and share with us, thank you guys! God bless you as you travel!
Thanks to everyone who helped make the Outback Carnival such a fun start to Adventure Camp! Everyone who participated in the Cake Walkabout took a cake home! Dingo Dave tested our boomerang throwing skills, we had a game of hit the tinny, and we discovered some unusual place names Down Under! After such a fantastic kick-off, the Boomerang Express left the station this morning with over 30 passengers!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Adventure Camp Workday on Saturday! They all put in some “hard yakka”! Decorating, painting, cutting, threading, painting, and more painting. Thank you all!
